Currently, there is no official Category 6 on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale. The scale only extends up to Category 5, which includes storms with sustained winds of 157 mph (252 km/h) or higher
However, as storms have become more violent, there have been discussions about the possibility of a Category 6. Hurricane Milton, for example, recently became a Category 5 storm with gusts gusting to 180 mph.
